How to make a character:
1.) After reading through the site rules, encyclopedia articles, etc, click on the Registration board found under the "Characters" category.
2.) Using the two-part password you found while reading the regulations, you may now access the Registration board. Before you get all excited and click that "New Thread" button, make sure you read the eight threads in the encyclopedia as they will undoubtedly help you. They will assist you in properly name and design your character, as well provide you with information about feline genetics, which is integral to this website. There's a good chance that your application will be rejected should you choose to ignore these guides.
3.) Once you've given those threads the time of day, you may now click "Create New Thread". Where's the form you need to copy-paste? Don't be silly; COO's interactive character application form will present itself the moment you click New Thread. If it doesn't, that means something is wrong with your version of the website, so please PM me with all the information you have so we can try to fix it. Character applications should be titled, "Name, Clan Position", such as "Firestar, ThunderClan Leader".
4.) If the form has indeed appeared, fill it out accordingly. On the right of each text area, there is a description of what exactly that part of the form is asking of you. I recommend that you read them all, especially the ones regarding your character's statistics. These are to be treated seriously; don't just throw any combination of numbers, this is the prowess of your character.

General--
- All characters must be non-pedigree domestic cats, as you would see in any feral cat colony anywhere in the world. *
It's astoundingly easy to find a unique, non-pedigree cat.
Rhye swears by Flickr.com.
Search "feral cat" or "stray cat", and you'll be given tens of thousands of unique, non-pedigree, feral cats.
- Magical abilities and special StarClan-given super powers are not permitted. Additionally, extreme mutations in cats will be rare, and users owning these felines will be expected to treat them realistically, or will lose their privilege to them. An exception to this rule are polydactyly ("extra toed") cats, as it has no detrimental affect on them. Mutations such as Klinefelter's syndrome (XXY), chimerism, albinism, and the like are results of genetic abnormalities, and cats born with those and similar conditions would not survive in the wild without the intervention of Twolegs. Exceptions can be purchased through the use of our fresh-kill system.
- Blue-eyed dominant-whites are limited, as there is a large percentage of blue eyed whites that are born deaf.
- Speaking of blue eyes - characters who are not pointed nor have some degree of medium-grade white-spotting cannot have blue eyes. Your character is not going to be an exception to this rule.
Clan Cats--
- Unless your character is a kittypet, it may not wear accessories. Also, twolegs aren't likely to pierce their cats' ears or give them diamond-studded collars, etc. - be realistic.
Kittypets--
- The majority of accepted kittypets must be spayed (for females) and neutered (for males), just as it would be in reality.
*Pedigree cats are permitted for kittypets ONLY, but should be spayed/neutered and unable to breed - an expensive pedigree cat that an owner wishes to breed or show would not be permitted to be an outdoor cat, so any outdoor pedigree cat would be spayed or neutered to prevent unwanted breedings.
