Personality: Despite her small stature Tigerpelt has a fiery personality that makes other's think twice before poking fun at her. She's tenacious, ambitious and bold.
But despite all this she's also an extremely patient cat who has a soft spot for kits and apprentices. Although she doesn't usually show, she's a naturally maternal feline who hopes to someday have kits of her own or an apprentice or two.
She enjoys a good laugh, but won’t make jokes at someone else’s expense. As a kit she used to be quite the troublemaker and prankster but has since matured. Though this won't stop her from occasionally causing trouble with the younger generation.
She has a tendency to take criticism too personally, and can be easily hurt by offhand comments that she perceives as criticism even if they weren’t intended that way. She needs some self esteem boosting now and again — a little compliment here and there works wonders for her.
She's a naturally curious cat who's constantly looking for new experiences. She's very active and prefers being out on patrol rather then stuck at home base. If left to her own devices at time her clever and intelligent mind will have her try to make something more challenging just to entertain herself.
She can be a little bit scattered, and the more she's forced to sit and do something structured the more fidgety she becomes. But given the right job, and the creative freedom to get it done in the way she wants to, she's a force to be reckoned with — her passion, excitement, and creativity make her a talented she-cat.
In relationships one could say she's extremely attentive. If she values other cats regularly, certainly she values her loved ones most of all. She may sometimes be on the verge of being clingy in romantic relationships — at her best she's definitely a cuddler. She works hard at relationships, and her tendency to see the best in others can lead to her staying in those relationships (both romantic and platonic) long past their prime. She needs to be with someone who can handle a little bit of overzealous affection at times, and enjoys exploring new things and staying active.
So in a nutball, she's compassionate, charming, fiery, rambunctious, and enthusiastic about life. She likes being active and having creative freedom to take on new challenges, and is very attentive to her relationships.
History: Tigerpelt was born in the peak of Green Leaf, in a time of plenty and prosperity. Despite being born in a time of plenty though she was the only kit in her litter. Its still unsure why this was but Tiger didn't really mind. Her mother was all the play mate she needed.
But of course, her mother could only provide so much stimulation for the rambunctious kit. As soon as she was allowed out of the den she took a running start, excited to explore the world outside the dark walls of her home.
It was on such a day that she would meet one of her closest friends in the form of a new kit. She still remembers that day fondly. Tackling a newly arrived Kitekit and attempting to drag him to the ground. A friendship was formed that day, whether Kitekit wanted it to or not.
Now with a new friend to practice her pouncing on Tigerkit developed into quite the stealthy she cat. She earned her apprentice name at six moons, like most kits did and under the tutelage of her mentor, the last clan Deputy, she honed her stealth and agility, her two strongest points. After honing those two she would focus on defense where Kitepaw would become her frequent sparring partner.
Shortly after turning twelve moons she earned her warrior name, Tigerpelt. Bestowed upon her by her wise mentor. But alas, her time with the sickly tom was not to last as he soon passed away after her naming ceremony. It was a hard blow for Tigerpelt for she had bonded strongly with the old Deputy. But the hard news would carry a silver lining as her best friend rose to the position of Deputy.
As a warrior Tigerpelt experienced her ups and her downs. She soon found that her small stature made for a horrible combatant in strength but what she lacked in that area she more then made up for with her intelligence and swiftness. Always two steps ahead of her opponent, Tigerpelt soon proved her prowess on the battlefield after she rescued a kit from the claws of a hawk.
Shortly after her heroic act the leader would pass to be replaced by her best friend. She acquired her first apprentice shortly after Kitewing became Kitestar and in doing so she became eligible for the position of Deputy which she quickly seized and proved she deserved. She managed to successfully mentor her apprentice and watched proudly as she would earn her warrior name.
Her celebration of her new position would be short-lived though. One night she would come home from a hunting patrol only to be called to the medicine cats den. Her mother, now elderly and frail, had come down with a nasty case of green cough. There was nothing to be done for her and she soon passed in her sleep. The death hit Tigerpelt hard and she still mourns for her mothers death.
Heritage: Spiderlegs >> mother (deceased)
Bramblefeather >> father (deceased)
Role-Play Example: Hawkstar woke with a yawn as the first drops of morning dew fell onto his nose from a leaf hanging above him. Standing from his perch he stretched out his long limbs before leaping down from his den in an old owl burrow. It wasn't that hard of a jump for the large tom and he landed easily enough.
Now on the ground he made his way over to the fresh kill pile, noticing its lack of food and making a note to send his deputy and a hunting party out to gather more. Since the time of the Great Wildfire, which wiped out the majority of his original clan, food had been scarce. But the forest was slowly beginning to grown and small prey were starting to return.
Yes, his clan would continue to grow and thrive despite the obstacles that lay before them. The famine had caused a lack of new members, no kits had been born under his orders to the cats in his clan not to breed for fear that there would not be enough to go around. He hated having to bury kits. The memory of having to bury his own still played in his mind at times but with a clan to look after he couldn't afford to remain in the past.
