Personality: Lotus is a quiet and reserved she-cat, one who doesn't enjoy socializing. She has social anxiety -- when speaking to another cat, she will become a stammering mess. This she-cat has been shy for as long as she can remember, and her anxiety doesn't seem to be improving. She will speak if she gets to know you, but only to a minimum, for she tries to avoid conversation as much as she can. Not only does Lotus stumble over her words, but over her own paws as well. She is highly clumsy, most likely having to do with her stocky structure. This loner is quite gullible, and will fall for nearly every story she hears.
This she-cat is very trustworthy, mostly because she doesn't want to find enough courage to spread rumors, and will always keep her word. She won’t spread any secrets because, like any cat, she has many of her own and understands the importance of them.
Lotus is also caring, and wants every cat to be happy and feel safe around her. She cannot always do anything to help a sad cat, though. She understands her limits, and wouldn't go as far as risking her own life to help another being. This she-cat is helpful to her best ability, for she has always felt the need to prove herself to the cats around her.
Lotus is fairly smart, but more gossip-wise than education-wise. She has a habit of eavesdropping on other cats’ conversations, mostly because she wants to gain knowledge on what’s going on around her. For this, others may get mad at her when they find that she knows something that she shouldn't.
Patience is high in this cat, and she can usually manage a calm attitude, meaning she doesn't get mad very often.
Lotus has low self esteem, not thinking very highly of herself and her abilities. This lowers her ability to do certain things, but only in extreme cases.
History: Born to two kittypets, Brigitte and Augustine, Lotus was an outcast of the litter. Her parents were owned by a professional cat breeder - one who aims for beauty. The breeder was definitely not expecting a cat like Lotus to pop out, with the rest of the litter being tabby. Because she didn't fit his needs, the breeder sent her to be adopted as soon as he could.
Lotus was taken in by an elderly couple who only took care of her for a short time before leaving her in the streets. They had run out of money, and the breeder refused to take Lotus back in.
Since that day, she's been doing a lot of wandering. She found her way to the lake territories, where she found a nice little old fox den to call her home. Only a moon after that, she was spotted by Clan cats and had to evacuate, settling in the marshes closer to the lake. Lotus tries to avoid any contact with the other cats living by the lake, but there's quite a few time when she'll accidentally get too close to the scent markers.
