- Tempered, Silverbrook isn't prone to sudden exclamations or a violent show of emotion excepting love
- Loyal to the marrow to her Clan, Silverbrook naturally prefers RiverClan, and has a tendency of prejudice towards the others
- She also has a hard time handing those of mixed heritage, and she has gossiped behind the backs of cats such as Stormwhisker, before - it's like Silverbrook's just waiting for them to take after only the non-RiverClan part of their heritage
History:
Silverkit was the third kit of her litter, the other two being Willowkit and Cloudkit, and her kithood was fairly comfortable. Silverkit loved her parents, and her siblings, but she often felt like her loving comforts were sometimes rejected by her very self-sufficient siblings; Willowkit was quiet and relaxed mostly, so she couldn't be coddled, and though Cloudkit was rather bratty, he too dismissed his sister's loving caresses.
As an apprentice, Silverpaw started to feel like she was competing with her siblings, and falling behind; both Willowpaw and Cloudpaw did better than her, in her eyes. And though it angered the she-cat at first, she slowly decided it was a good thing; she had a great family, and their accomplishments made them 'all' look good in turn. This birthed the sense of grandness that would slowly turn into the arrogance Silver'brook' would be known for.
She did well as an apprentice, and made warrior without ado, and inwardly gloated over the fact that she was soon regarded as a great beauty among the Clans - not that she cared what the other Clans thought, really, because they were barbarians compared to the elegance of a true RiverClan cat, but she gloated nonetheless. She also continued to support and care for her family, with sweet words and caresses because even though image is important to her, her family's true well-being matters most of all.
For the first few seasons after her warrior ceremony, Silverbrook contented herself with doing her duties, and gossiping with the other cats. It wasn't until some time later before she nabbed herself Troutfoot for a mate, and even longer before she carried their first litter. She secretly reveled in the whispers surrounding her pregnancy, of how a kit from such a union would surely be a great contribution; and Silverbrook was overjoyed when she finally met her kit, a daughter whom she named Minnowkit, due to her pattern reminding her of the fish.
Though Minnowpaw suffered a few hang-ups during her apprenticeship, Silverbrook was still as proud of her the day she became a warrior; and even more as it didn't take long until her precious daughter got herself a mate, which looked even better on the family records.
It took moons before Silverbrook finally understood that something was fundamentally wrong about her daughter's mate, and it made her sick to discover the abuse she'd been blind to for so long, that had reduced her once so outgoing and bright daughter to this scared, pitiful little thing who daren't even go against his violence on her own. Taking the matter into her own paws, Silverbrook felt fairly confident that she'd saved her daughter once she got Owlclaw banished from the Clan, but realized it was only partly a solution, when the vengeful tom returned and mangled their medicine cat apprentice. This time, when the patrol left to chase him, Silverbrook brought her mate aside and begged Troutfoot that if he could, he'd end their daughter's monster.
Unfortunately they didn't catch him, and Silverbrook continued to stress over her poor Minnowstep, who had yet to regain her fire after the ordeal; and she was ever-so grateful when the old medicine cat asked her daughter to apprentice with her, thinking it might actually be the only way for Minnowstep to rediscover herself and her purpose again, and she blocked out any arguments against this decision that any Clan member could harbour.
Some seasons later, Silverbrook again became pregnant; but this time, the kit she bore was far frailer, and it was long suspected that her poor little Webkit wouldn't make it at all. She spent half his kit-hood watching him from the medicine cat's den, saddened that she couldn't care for him when he got sick, and she also backed the decisions that they would have to delay his apprenticeship, if he was to be apprenticed at all.
Currently, Silverbrook enjoys her title as senior warrior, an esteemed clan member also partly due to her sister being clan leader, and her daughter being the medicine cat. She's still all about love and family, still doubting all the mix-bloods in the clan (though she rarely does much more than gossip about their imagined actions) and looking out for her son, in her signature smothering fashion.
