Fernspring is a tortoiseshell and white she-cat with green eyes. She stand at 24 cm (9.4 inches) tall, 44cm long (17.3 inches) and her tail is 30cm (11.8 inches)long. Her build is slender and she has long legs.
Strength: 2
Defense: 3
Agility: 5
Stealth: 3
Tracking: 2
Personality: The first thing everyone notices about Fernspring is her nimbleness, she is able to leap from rock to rock with no trouble at all. This is not all she is though, her brains are remarkable she thinks about things most cats probably don't even realize exist. She also has one of the kindest hearts, and will die if it means protecting a fellow clan mate. Despite her loyalty and general good temperament she is very stubborn and will argue until she's 'blue in the face' that she's right. She also has a long fuse, so it take a lot to anger her. When she does finally blow, it's usually just a load of hot air and nothing more than words, although as she's not got an intimidating build to her it can look a little hilarious.
History:
Kit/Apprentice age:
She was born to two cats in the mountains by the names of Pine (father) and River (mother) with no siblings. Her parents names her Fern due to the fact she was born in a pile of ferns. When she was 7 moons old her parents took her to the base of the mountain to train her to fight as they thought the mountain was too unsafe (she'd learnt to hunt on the mountain for a couple of moons). It was the leaf-bare season and it had been a harsh one in the forest below. They had been at the base for a couple of days and training was going well when Fern was distracted by a butterfly and wandered after it, putting some distance between her and her parents. She she lost the creature she'd been pursuing she turned back to see a small group of four wolves between her and her parents. The wolves were thin and obviously desperate for food. Two had her mother and father pinned up the mountain side, she froze in fear as the other two walked toward her only her fathers voice screaming at her to run reached her. She took off into the forest and managed to get herself upwind of the creatures quickly before continuing to run. She knew it was only because of their diminished state and the fact she'd gotten upwind that she'd made it away.
Apprentice/Warrior:
After having been alone for three months with minimal fighting training, the forest was a daunting place and much frightened her. She was a little weak due to not being used to hunting in the forest so had struggled at first, but it had gotten a little easier as leaf-bear became new-leaf. She finally came across the horse place and was taken in by a she called Midnight who was a loner that lived there. Midnight taught her how to hunt and fight a little more over the moon she was with her. Fern soon became curious about the clans and became delighted at the sight of WindClan as they were similar to her: Slender builds and long legs. She bounded over to a group of warriors on patrol and was subsequently pinned down until she explained she wished to join them. When she was taken to the camp the leader accepted her into the clan and she became Fernpaw. When she became a warrior at 17 moons (11 moons when joined + 6 moons training)she was given the name Fernspring for two reasons: The first was the fact she always called any form of water a spring. The second was because she was always running around like how water in a spring is constantly moving.
Heritage: Pine-Father (Ginger and white tabby tom with green eyes).
River-Mother (Tortoiseshell she-cat with amber eyes).
Midnight-Adoptive mother (black she-cat with amber eyes).
Role-Play Example: The lithe, small calico she-cat slowly blinked her eyes open, allowing them to adjust to the sunlight that were coming into the den. She could hear the voices of other cats in the den, one of which had been Reedstar and gave a gentle sigh. Uncurling herself her eyes had now fully opened and she could see other cats stirring now. Hearing the words 'hunting patrol' she got herself drowsily to her paws and gave a gaping yawn, showing all her ivory fangs for a slip second before her maw closed with a soft clinking noise. Moving her weight into her hind quarters she leant back on them, stretching out her long and slender limbs in front of her before shifting the weight back and pressing her hips to the ground to stretch out her back limbs. With a quick full body shake she fluffed out her pelt and headed for the entrance which she could see from the streaming sunlight coming in. She emerged from the dark and squinted until they had adjusted, the warmth of the light warming her pelt as she came into the clearing and a soft smile appearing on her maw. She sat herself down to the right of the entrance, giving Reedstar a respectful nod of greeting since she was still a little too sleepy to speak at the moment.
This is an example from a different roleplay, I can do better but this is on a standard-bad day.
